Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for providing higher corrosion proofness in an absorption type refrigerator.SOLUTION: An absorbent for an absorption type refrigerator contains lithium bromide and also contains ascorbate. The content of the ascorbate is preferably equal to and larger than 250 ppm, and equal to or less than 1%. A featured configuration of the absorption type refrigerator is that the absorbent contains the lithium bromide, and the absorbent contains ascorbate. The absorption type refrigerator may have a copper material part in a circulation system for the absorbent.
