The actuating device has a spindle, and is formed as hand wheel (4) with a locking element (32). The locking element is integratedly formed and is arranged integratedly in hand wheel. The locking element is jointly formed with the spindle of a valve (1) for determining the axial and radial positions of the hand wheel in relative to the spindle.
