Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working fluid cooling device capable of efficiently cooling discharge oil of a torque converter.SOLUTION: A torque converter 10 has a lockup mechanism, and transmits torque of an engine to a transmission through or not through the lockup mechanism. A working fluid cooling device for a torque converter of this invention includes a heat exchanger 4 interposed in an oil passage L2 through which working fluid discharged from the torque converter 10 flows and exchanging heat between cooling water of the engine and the working fluid, and a valve device 27 connected to the oil passage L2 in the downstream side of the heat exchanger 4 and adjusting a pressure of the working fluid in the oil passage L2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
