Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve workability and S/N in sample replacement. CONSTITUTION:A guide 4 is provided in a housing 3 at the left side at the approximate center of a space between a main mirror 1 and a secondary mirror 2. An aspherical mirror 6 is attached to the tip of a slider 5 which is attached in the guide 4 and can be slid right and left together with the slider 5 in the guide. A numeral 7 represents an object point, numerals 8 and 9 represent light paths and a numeral 10 represents a hole which is opened in the housing 3 at the opposite side of the guide 4. In this constitution, the slider 5 is inserted into the right side toward the figure and made to enter into the light path 8 between the main mirror 1 and the secondary mirror 2. Light A which is horizontally cast through the hole 10 is applied on a sample on the object point 7 through the aspherical mirror 6. The light emitted from the sample is condensed toward a detector which is not shown in the figure. Thus, the spectrum reflected from the sample can be obtained. When the transmission is measured, the slider 5 is moved leftward, the aspherical mirror 6 is contained in the guide 4 and light B is cast from the rear side of the sample. Thus, the transmission can be measured.
