Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for classifying an organizational structure, capable of extremely reducing the influence of imaging conditions and extracting an optical anisotropic region at an extinction position, and a method for estimating physical properties of a material using the classification.SOLUTION: The method for classifying the organizational structure of a material comprises: correcting a plurality of polarization microscope rotation images in the same view obtained by rotating and imaging an object to be imaged at an optional angle using a positional deviation due to rotation; plotting each pixel of images at the same position on a two dimensional coordinate using hue and brightness as axes; and classifying each pixel into an optical anisotropic region and the other region using a color change distance being a moving distance of each pixel by rotation on the hue and brightness two dimensional coordinate. A method for estimating a material includes estimating physical properties of an observed material or a material manufactured of the sample using the quantified value of the organizational structure calculated by the method for classifying the organizational structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
