Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative nonwoven fabric excellent in glossiness and abrasion resistance and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A decorative nonwoven fabric of this invention has partially decorative parts containing resins on the surface of the nonwoven fabric and satisfies the following conditions (1) to (3). (1) Glossiness at decorative parts is not less than 3.9%. (2) Steps between decorative parts and non-decorative parts are not more than 0.2 mm. (3) A total area of the decorative parts accounts for not less than 30% of the area of the surface of the nonwoven fabric. The decorative nonwoven fabric of this invention can be produced by the method including the steps of: partially applying a resin solution containing 40 to 90 mass% of a hot-melt resin based on the total resin on the surface of the nonwoven fabric to form a precursor of a decorative nonwoven fabric having partially a precursor of decorative parts; melting the hot-melt resin, in a state of laminating smoothing members on a surface having the precursor of the decorative parts of the precursor of the decorative nonwoven fabric and subsequently solidifying the hot-melt resin to form the decorative parts; and removing the smoothing members to obtain the decorative nonwoven fabric.SELECTED DRAWING: None
