Abstract:
To provide a vibration inhibition device of a structure which can effectively inhibit vibration of a structure with a damping effect and a rotational inertia effect and achieve simplification and a cost reduction as a whole device.SOLUTION: A vibration inhibition device 1A of a structure is used to inhibit vibration of a structure B and includes: a vibration control wall 2 having an outer wall 5 which is formed into a box shape, filled with viscous fluid 4, and connected to a lower structure material BD, and an inner wall 6 which is housed in the outer wall 5 and connected to an upper structure material BU; and a gear motor mechanism 3 having a communication passage 31 allowing communication between a left chamber 18 and a right chamber 19 at left and right sides as seen in a lateral width direction of the inner wall 6 in the outer wall 5, a gear motor 32 which is provided in the middle of the communication passage 31 and converts flow of the viscous fluid 4 flowing in the communication passage 31 into rotational movement in conjunction with movement of the inner wall 6 in the lateral width direction, and a rotation mass 33 connected to a rotary shaft 36a of the gear motor 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
