Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outside door handle device for a vehicle door in which an operating handle is provided at its one end portion with a supporting arm portion that is partially inserted into an outer panel and a tip end portion of the supporting arm portion is supported by a shaft portion for rotation which is fixed to the outer panel and which is configured to prevent rattling of the operating handle.SOLUTION: A supporting arm portion 15 is formed at its tip end portion with a U-shaped shaft receiving recess portion 26 that opens toward an inside of a vehicle in a non-operating state of an operating handle 12, a supporting member 27 including a shaft portion 17 having a vertically extending axis and fitted in the shaft receiving recess portion is attached, from the inside of the vehicle, to a base member 14 fixed to the outer panel 11, and the base member 14 is formed with a regulating surface that comes into contact with the tip end portion of the supporting arm portion 15 from the opposite side of the shaft portion 17 when the operating handle 12 is in the non-operating state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
