To provide an output device for a vehicle allowing judgment as to whether or not how to drive the vehicle for the future should be improved and recognition of a state of the vehicle when purchasing a used car by outputting emission for each operation of carbon dioxide in the past.
A CPU (Central Processing Unit) 11 integrates emission for each operation to be emission of carbon dioxide discharged by the vehicle for each operation and records the emission for each operation as a history for each operation in an EEPROM 14. Subsequently, when an output request operation by a trip switch 5 is performed, the CPU 11 determines the history of the emission for each operation from the histories recorded in the EEPROM 14 and successively displays the history on an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) 3.
