Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxyalkylene group-containing carboxylic polymer excellent in water reduction property and retention property by a cement composition and the like, and to provide a dispersant containing the oxyalkylene group-containing carboxylic polymer.SOLUTION: There is provided an oxyalkylene group-containing carboxylic polymer mainly containing a monomer unit derived from a carboxylic acid-based monomer having an oxyalkylene group (A), and the monomer (A) has a structure in which polyalkylene glycol represented by the general formula (2) is added to at least one of two COOM groups of a dicarboxylic acid-based monomer represented by the general formula (1). In the general formula (1), where one of R, Rand Ris -(CH). In the general formula (2), where -R-O- is same or different and represents an oxyalkylene group having 2 to 18 carbon atoms.
