PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for a treatment technique and prophylaxis of human papilloma virus (HPV) related tumors and another cyclin-dependent kinase inhibiting factor p16-expressing tumors.SOLUTION: Provided is a fragment comprising a particular amino acid sequence of cyclin-dependent kinase inhibiting factor p16 capable of increasing IFN-γ secretion by T cells or inducing T cell proliferation, and use of the fragment for conferring immunity against HPV-related tumors or other p16-expressing tumors, preferably a progressive cancer, to an individual. Provided is a vector comprising a nucleotide sequence coding for the fragment. The vector is a plasmid or a virus vector. Provided is a pharmaceutical composition comprising the fragment, the nucleic acid, or the vector. Provided is use of the vector for producing a vaccine for prevention or treatment of neoplasms or tumors.
