Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide battery packaging material capable of suppressing occurrence of short circuit between an electrode of a battery and a metal layer of the packaging material due to heat seal during hermetic sealing, and further capable of suppressing occurrence of cracking.SOLUTION: A battery packaging material includes a laminate formed by sequentially laminating at least a base material layer, a metal layer, an adhesive resin layer, and a sealant layer. The adhesive resin layer contains a carboxylic-acid modified polyolefin. The sealant layer contains a cycloolefin copolymer consisting of a copolymer of ethylene and norbornene. Consequently, short circuit which occurs between an electrode of a battery and the metal layer of the packaging material, due to heat seal during hermetic sealing, can be prevented, and cracking that occurs in the packaging material can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
