Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a strength of a cardboard in which a package group is accumulated.SOLUTION: A method for packaging an absorbent article has: a formation process in which plural folded absorbent articles are inserted in a packaging member thereby forming a package; an input process in which the package is compressed in a compression direction and a package group of plural packages is inputted into the cardboard in a such manner that the package group is inputted into the cardboard in the state that a length of the package group in the compression direction is so made by compression of the package as to be shorter than an inside dimension of the cardboard in the compression direction; and a contact process in which the inputted package group is expanded in a direction opposite to the compression direction, whereby both ends of the package group in said opposite direction are brought into contact with an inner surface of the cardboard.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
