Abstract:
To provide a packing machine that can prevent bands from getting entangled or twisted and pack without damaging even fragile to-be-packed objects.SOLUTION: In an outer peripheral position of a band reel 10 with built-in osmund spring of a packing machine 1 equipped with the band reel 10 are provided a guide roller 31 for diverting a band B from the band reel 10 toward a feed unit 20, a swing arm 32 to which the guide roller 31 is mounted and energizing means 33 for energizing the swing arm 32 so as to energize the guide roller 31 in the direction away from the feed unit 20, while the guide roller 31 can be moved to a position close to the feed unit 20 at the time the band B is sent out by the feed unit 20. As a result, when the band B is pulled back by the feed unit 20, the band B can be prevented from being greatly loosened, and as well, when the reverse rotation of the band reel 10 is stopped, the rapid increase in tension of the band B is alleviated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
