Abstract:
To provide a palladium separating agent capable of separating palladium ions from a solution containing palladium ions of a low concentration to a high concentration in a short time with a high selectivity, and a method for separating palladium. A palladium separating agent having a functional group represented by the formula (1) bonded to a carrier:
€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ-Z-(CH 2 ) n -S-R€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ(1)
wherein R is a C 1-18 chain hydrocarbon group, a C 3-10 alicyclic hydrocarbon group, a C 614 aromatic hydrocarbon group, a carboxymethyl group or a carboxyethyl group, n is an integer of from 1 to 4, and Z is an amide bond.
