Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet folding device capable of performing reinforced folding processing for the folded parts of a plurality of places by a sufficient pressing force without increasing the size and the cost of the device and without reducing productivity even when folded parts are formed in the plurality of places in a sheet such as Z-folding, inward triple folding, or outward triple folding in the continuously conveyed sheet, and an image forming device.SOLUTION: When continuously conveyed sheets P1 and P2 are subjected to folding processing by a folding processing device main part, the folded part P1b of a conveying-direction tail end side formed in the preceding sheet P1 subjected to folding processing by the folding processing device main part and the folded part P2a of a conveying-direction leading end side formed in the succeeding sheet P2 subjected to folding processing by the folding processing device main part can be simultaneously pressed by a pressing part 70 in a state where both the sheets P1 and P2 are arrayed in the conveying direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
