Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity by correctly performing full detection of sheets on a discharge tray without requiring a physical full detection sensor.SOLUTION: A sheet discharge device includes: a discharge tray 151 to which sheets are discharged; a count unit 101 which cumulatively counts the sheets discharged onto the discharge tray 151; a full detection unit 102 which detects full in the discharge tray 151 when it is determined that the cumulative discharge number counted by the count unit 101 exceeds the predetermined full threshold; an operation reception unit 103 which receives operation input from a user; and an adjustment unit 104 which resets the cumulative discharge number when the operation reception unit 103 receives an instruction from the user for resetting the cumulative discharge number.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
