Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To humidify a sheet while preventing an adverse effect on sheet conveyance.SOLUTION: A sheet humidification device controls a humidification part to define an area of a sheet excluding an area to be the leading end in a sheet conveyance direction in post processing as a first area and the area to be the leading end in the sheet conveyance direction in the post processing as a second area, determine a first humidification amount to humidify the first area of the sheet by referring to image formation related information and determine a second humidification amount smaller than the first humidification amount as a humidification amount to humidify the second area of the sheet by referring to post processing related information, and humidify the first area of the sheet with the first humidification amount and humidify the second area of the sheet with the second humidification amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
