Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet humidifier that can prevent wrinkles from being generated in a paper during humidification operation even if the paper is a thin paper type, and an image formation system.SOLUTION: The sheet humidifier comprises: a first humidifying roller 703a that can be positionally-moved freely and humidifies a paper P; a second humidifying roller 703b, arranged opposing to the first humidifying roller 703a, which can be positionally moved freely and humidifies the paper P; and a position control portion 511 that controls the position of the first humidifying roller 703a and the position of the second humidifying roller 703b. The position control portion 511, when a thin paper is designated as a type of the paper P, weakens force given to the paper P when separating a space between the first humidifying roller 703a and the second humidifying roller 703b and then press-welding the space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
