To provide a paper sheet feeding device capable of stably feeding paper sheets without inclining the paper sheets in feeding the paper sheets of different sizes from a stacking part.
The paper sheet feeding device is provided with a bucket 310 for storing paper sheets to be fed; a pressing plate 305 for pressing the paper sheets stored in the storing part when the paper sheets are fed from the bucket 310; a pickup roller 303 arranged at an opposite side from the pressing plate with respect to the paper sheets to be pressed to feed the paper sheets stored in the storing part; and a paper sheet holding member 401 which comes into contact with the same surface of the paper sheets fed by the pickup roller as the face with which the pickup roller comes to contact and is a paper sheet holding part that comes into contact with a rear position of the paper sheets to be fed with respect to a feeding direction.
