Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a tension applied to a paper sheet present between a plurality of conveyance rollers.SOLUTION: An auxiliary conveyance roller R3 conveys a paper sheet P1 toward a main conveyance roller R1. The main conveyance roller R1 conveys the paper sheet P1 that is conveyed from the auxiliary conveyance roller R3. A detection roller R5 is provided at a position between the main conveyance roller R1 and the auxiliary conveyance roller R3 in a conveyance path. The detection roller R5 is constituted to be freely movable in a direction Dr2 crossing a principal plane of the paper sheet P1 in a state where the detection roller R5 is brought into contact with the paper sheet P1 that is conveyed. The auxiliary conveyance roller R3 controls a conveyance speed of the paper sheet P1 on the basis of a change in a position of the detection roller R5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
