Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a large diameter pipe conduit hardly causing dead water by arranging two or more partitions in the orthogonal direction to the pipe axis of the large diameter pipe conduit inside of the large diameter pipe conduit.
CONSTITUTION: Inside of a circular cross sectional large diameter pipe conduit 1 arranged underground extremely deeply so as to flow water, partitions 2 consisting of square plate bodies whose corner parts are brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the large diameter pipe conduit 1, are arranged at a certain interval in the pipe axial direction of the large diameter pipe conduit 1. An inflow pipe 4 for a chlorine agent is connected to the large diameter pipe conduit 1 between the partitions 2, and the water and the chlorine agent in the large diameter pipe conduit 1 are agitated/mixed together by means of the partitions 2. Thereby, neither excess nor deficiency is caused in concentration of residual chlorine, so that the concentration of the residual chlorine can be uniformized. Even when an average flow speed of the water in the large diameter pipe conduit is kept at a low flow speed, a mixing/agitating effect becomes excellent. In this way, by uniformizing the concentration of the chlorine agent injected into the pipe conduit, clean water suitable for drinking can be supplied to a faucet without causing dead water.
