Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform calibration of on-vehicle camera.SOLUTION: The parameter calculation method includes first acquisition processing, second acquisition processing, and calculation processing. In the first acquisition processing, two markers which are arranged around a vehicle and have predetermined intervals are photographed by a camera mounted on the vehicle to acquire first coordinate values of the two markers in a first image which has been photographed. In the second acquisition processing, two markers are photographed by the camera after the vehicle is moved on a straight line to acquire second coordinate values of the two markers in a second image which has been photographed. In the calculation processing, a parameter of the camera is calculated by using the first coordinate value and the second coordinate value on the basis of the condition that the interval of the two markers before and after the movement is a predetermined interval in a coordinate system of the camera and the movement distance of the two markers is equal.
