To provide a parking support device which reduces the sense of uneasiness of an occupant.SOLUTION: A parking support device 10 comprises: an own vehicle position acquisition unit 20 which acquires a current position Pa of a vehicle 2; an object information acquisition unit 22 which acquires object information A including information about a position of an object K in the periphery of the vehicle 2; and a target route setting unit 24 which sets a plurality of routes MQ between the current position Pa and a prescribed parking area Pb, specifies the route MQ having the longest distance from the object K in the plurality of routes MQ, and sets a target route Q in which the vehicle 2 travels to the prescribed parking area Pb from the current position Pa on the basis of the specified route MQ.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
