Abstract:
To provide an improved version of technology for managing a parking lot, and with which a user pays a parking fee.SOLUTION: This parking lot management system includes a display unit for displaying parking-related information at a parking lot, and a management server, with a user's communication apparatus transmitting the user's identity information as personal information to the management server while staying at the parking lot and transmitting the parking-related information displayed on the display unit to the management server. When personal information is received from a communication apparatus, the management server performs personal authentication about a user on the basis of the personal information, and when parking-related information is received from the communication apparatus after the personal authentication is successful, the management server identifies a parking lot where the user currently stays on the basis of the received parking-related information, as well as settling the payment of a parking fee by digital payment and transmitting data to the communication apparatus indicating to the effect that the settlement has been completed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 31
