PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support device capable of supporting parking, and a computer program for achieving the parking support device.SOLUTION: A parking support device supports parking. The parking support device includes: an acquisition unit for acquiring parking width of a parking space; and a notification unit for notifying predetermined parking support information, in the case where a difference between the parking width acquired by the acquisition unit and vehicle width of an own vehicle is smaller than a predetermined threshold value. The threshold value can be, for example, an interval in which doors on both left and right sides of the vehicle cannot be opened wide enough for an occupant to get off the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
