Abstract:
To detect partial discharge without directly attaching a capacitor to a high voltage cable.SOLUTION: A partial discharge detector 15 comprises: a partial discharge detection sensor 60; a waveform separator 80; and a waveform observation arithmetic unit 90. The sensor 60 includes a copper flat type electrode 70 that is installed in non-contact with a high voltage cable, a capacitor C that is connected in series with the flat type electrode 70, and a detection impedance Z that is connected in series with the capacitor C and grounded. The waveform separator 80 includes an HPF 100 and an LPF 200 that separate the waveform of a signal detected by the detection impedance Z into a voltage waveform of a low frequency component and a partial discharge waveform of a high frequency component. The waveform observation arithmetic unit 90 acquires a partial discharge pattern based on the voltage waveform and the partial discharge waveform obtained through the separation performed by the waveform separator 80.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
