PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily identify a patient in a bed while reducing a work load on a medical staff, and prevent misidentification of patients.SOLUTION: A patient identification terminal 1 includes a reception part 11 for receiving a radio wave transmitted from a transmitter 3 installed at each of a plurality of beds, a selection part 12 for selecting the transmitter 3 the closest to the patient identification terminal 1 by using the radio wave intensity of the radio wave, and an acquisition part 13 for acquiring bed identification information on the bed where the transmitter 3 is installed from the radio wave of the selected transmitter 3, transmitting it to a server 2, and acquiring patient identification information on the patient corresponding to the bed identification information from the server 2. The selection part 12 determines whether or not a distance between the patient identification terminal 1 and each transmitter 3 is within a predetermined distance by using the radio wave intensity of the radio wave, and selects the transmitter 3 whose distance from the patient identification terminal 1 is decreasing of the transmitters 3 within the predetermined distance, as the transmitter the closest to the patient identification terminal 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
