Abstract:
PURPOSE: To rationalize the presence probability of a target object in an on- vehicle object detecting device, prevent the erroneous judgment by noise, and precisely detect an object.
CONSTITUTION: An object detecting means M1 detects the position of a target object. A confirmability arithmetic means M2 arithmetically operates the confirmability showing the confirmability of the degree of presence of the target object according to the conformed state between the position of the target object detected by the object detecting means M1 and the position of the target object detected in the past. An environment confirming means M3 confirms the object detecting environment of the object detecting means M1. A correcting means M3 corrects the confirmability or the threshold of the confirmability according to the object detecting environment.
