Abstract:
To evaluate vibration control performance of an active mass damper for a complicated building shaking that lasts for a long time.SOLUTION: A performance evaluation method of an active mass damper includes a step of adding a building response acceleration aobtained from a wind load f inputted to a building model 26 and a building response acceleration adetected by a sensor 16 installed in a real building 12 and transmitting an obtained building response acceleration a to a controller 18; a step of operating an active mass damper 14 by the controller 18 based on the building response acceleration a to generate a building response on the building 12; and a step of comparing the building response acceleration a and the building response acceleration ato evaluate vibration control performance of the active mass damper 14 are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
