Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately prevent information leakage for data stored in a storage.SOLUTION: A portable terminal device comprises a storage I/F to which a storage can be mounted, a SIM card I/F to which a SIM card can be mounted, and a control section. The control section controls to encrypt and store data into the storage and, in the case where information can be read from the SIM card, controls to decrypt the encrypted data on the basis of first information recorded on the SIM card but, in the case where information from the SIM card cannot be read, controls to decrypt the encrypted data on the basis of second information recorded in the storage and a password inputted by a user. Therefore, in accordance with whether or not information can be read from the SIM card, the data can be decrypted based on information recorded on a different recording medium.
