Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal that makes it possible to provide users with contents higher in appealing power without giving the users bad impression.SOLUTION: A portable terminal includes: a distribution condition determination unit that determines whether a condition for receiving contents from a server via a network is met; a state determination unit that, when it is determined by the distribution condition determination unit that the condition is met, determines a state of the portable device; a selection unit that, when it is determined that the condition is met, selects one data from a plurality of categories of data different in a data volume about the content on the basis of the state of the portable terminal determined by the state determination unit; a communication unit that acquires the data selected by the selection unit from the server via the network; and a display unit that displays information based on the data acquired by the communication unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
