Abstract:
To suppress the generation of in-plane positional deviation of an image point according to defocus in a focal depth enlarged image after image processing of wavefront coding (WFC).SOLUTION: An imaging optical system comprises: a phase filter including a plurality of rows of ring bands having a concave surface serving as a concave lens having a substantially parabolic cross-sectional shape concentrically circular about an optical axis; and an image formation lens as convex lens with one focal point. A light flux parallel to an optical axis entering each ring band of the phase filter passes through the focal position of the image formation lens, and each concave surface disperses the incident light flux locally. Each light flux is overlapped with one another in a range enlarged before and after the optical axis including the focal position of the image formation lens.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
