Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a photoelectric conversion device small in fluctuation in its photoelectric conversion efficiency and capable of offering a stable battery performance; a solar battery including such a photoelectric conversion device; and a method for manufacturing a photoelectric conversion device which offers a stable battery performance.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion device 10A comprises: a first electrode 1A having a metal oxide layer 5A provided on a conductive base, and a photosensitive layer arranged by providing a light absorption agent on the metal oxide layer; and a second electrode 2 opposed to the first electrode. The photoelectric conversion device further comprises a compound. In the photoelectric conversion device, the light absorption agent includes a compound having a perovskite crystal structure having an element of Group I of the periodic table or a cation of a cationic organic group A, a cation of a metal atom M other than the element of Group I of the periodic table, and an anionic atom or an anion of an atomic group X. A solar battery comprises the photoelectric conversion device. A method for manufacturing the photoelectric conversion device comprises the steps of bringing the metal oxide layer into contact with a solution containing the first compound, and then, forming the photosensitive layer.
