Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system which allows for reduction of burden when editing panoramic images, while maintaining the edition accuracy at a certain level or more, without relying upon subjective judgement of an editor.SOLUTION: While traveling on an imaging path 7 on a plurality of markers 3 arranged at substantially equidistance from a reference position 5, an imaging device 4 performs continuous imaging of panoramic images. Out of the panoramic image thus imaged, the positional coordinates in the vertical direction (elevation angle direction) of each marker in the panoramic image match only in the panoramic image captured directly above the reference position 5. Consequently, a video editor can identify a panoramic image captured near the reference position 5 easily, by confirming the display position of a marker, and can easily determine whether or not each frame of a panoramic image is required.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
