Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for preventing, in controlling one or a plurality of cameras from a plurality of actuators, state inconsistency between the actuators.SOLUTION: A controller used in an imaging system in which a plurality of controllers control the same operation target controlled by an absolute position instruction of one imaging device includes: communication means for communicating with another device in the system; operation means for operating the operation target of the imaging device; control means for creating a control instruction for operating the operation target on the basis of operation by the operation means, and outputting the control instruction from the communication means; and mode setting means for performing master/slave setting. The control means, in a slave mode, creates a relative position instruction according to operation by the operation means and outputs the relative position instruction to another controller in a master mode. The control means, in a master mode, creates an absolute position instruction on the basis of operation by the operation means and outputs the absolute position instruction to the imaging device; and, in the case of having received a relative position instruction from another controller in a slave mode, creates an absolute position instruction on the basis of the received control instruction, and outputs the created absolute position instruction to the imaging device.
