Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an over-exposure regardless of a photographing scene.SOLUTION: A camera control unit 41 is configured to: detect a focus detection area in which a deviation with respect to a focused state falls within a prescribed range in accordance with a focus detection result as a focused range area, and obtain a first measurement value in accordance with a light metering result after weighting the light metering result obtained in a light metering area corresponding to the focused range area; obtain a second light metering value in accordance with the light metering result, and when the number of focused range areas is equal to or more than a prescribed number, obtain a third light metering value in accordance with a light metering result after weighting a difference between the first and second light metering values and a light metering result obtained in light metering areas corresponding to the focused range area in accordance with the number of focused range areas; and determine the third light metering value as a subject light metering value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
