Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive resin composition having improved linearity in development while having adhesiveness to a glass substrate and excellent developability, and a production method of an alkali-soluble resin, by which an alkali-soluble resin constituting the above photosensitive resin composition can be produced.SOLUTION: The production method of an alkali-soluble resin of the present invention aims to produce an alkali-soluble resin by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer in the presence of a polymerization initiator. The method includes: a step A of charging a reaction vessel with a solution containing the polymerization initiator; and a step B of, after the step A, dropping a solution containing the polymerization initiator and the polymerizable monomer into the reaction vessel. The polymerizable monomer comprises, as essential components, an acid group-containing monomer and a monomer capable of introducing a cyclic structure to the main chain of the polymer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
