Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric substrate in which an electrode, in particular, an electrode for common electrode (second electrode) has strong mechanical connection between the electrode and the outside, and to provide an assembly, a liquid ejection head and a recording device each of which uses the piezoelectric substrate.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric substrate 21 comprises: a piezoelectric ceramic layer; a plurality of first electrodes 25; a second electrode; a third electrode; and a penetrating conductor 34 penetrating the piezoelectric ceramic layer and electrically connecting the second electrode and the third electrode together. The second electrode comprises an internal connection part 28a connected to the penetrating conductor 34, an external connection part 28b with width narrower than the internal connection part 28a, and a connection part 28c electrically connecting the internal connection part 28a and the external connection part 28b together. The connection part 28c is thinner than the internal connection part 28a and the external connection part 28b. The second electrode and the outside are electrically connected together at the external connection part 28b.
