PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile fabric for a cleaning brush in which variations are eliminated in a tilt direction and a slant angle of a pile and the quality is stabilized.SOLUTION: A pile is interweaved in a ground weave formed by sequentially driving at least three wefts of a tip side weft 12, an intermediate weft 41 and a rear end side weft 22 in an opening formed by two kinds of a core warp 31 and a fastening warp 32, and a first pile 52 is formed. The reduction ratio of the core warp and the fastening warp is changed, and the reduction ratio of the fastening warp is increased more than the reduction ratio of the core warp. The weft is weaved and divided into the upper side and the under side of the core warp, and the ground weave is made into a top and bottom two-layer structure. A tip side pile piece 11 of the first pile is slipped through the bottom of the tip side weft of the lower side of the core warp, and is made to stand up from between a tip side adjacent weft 13 and the tip side weft 12. A rear end side pile piece 21 is slipped through the bottom of the rear end side weft of the upper side of the core warp, and is made to stand up from between a rear end side adjacent weft 23 and the rear end side weft 22.
