Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile holding body preventing piles from being easily fallen, and having high bearing force with respect to axial compressive force, and a pile mat.SOLUTION: A pile P whose base part is connected to a base fabric S has a substantially columnar shape with a core yarn defined as a center, where monofilaments F are closely-arranged in a circumferential direction so as to have a radial shape in a substantially radial direction, and become a further highly-dense state toward the inside and further closely-arranged state toward the axis direction, so that a tip end Pa is formed into a substantially convex surface by the substantially radial monofilaments. A ratio of the height to the diameter is 1:1. In each pile row, an interval between the centers of the base parts of piles P that are adjacent to each other in a prescribed direction is substantially 50% of a sum of the radii of both piles P, without being affected by contact of both adjacent piles. However, piles P being adjacent in the prescribed direction come into contact with each other in the prescribed direction, and represent such a state that a dimension in the prescribed direction is reduced to substantially 50%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
