Abstract:
To provide a pipe joint which can be reliably jointed to a pipe P without flare processing.SOLUTION: A pipe joint includes a flare joint body 1, a cap nut 2, and a stop ring 3. A round-shaped pressure contact inclined surface 32 of the stop ring 3 is brought into pressure contact with a distal end diameter-reduced inclined surface 5 of the flare joint body 1 to attain a seal by the mutual contact of metal surfaces. A pipe P is held in a strong pressure contact state by a rear tooth and a front tooth formed on a distal end head 37 of a thin-wall substantially cylindrical portion 35 of the stop ring 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
