Title:
LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3048923
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optimum quiescent period without speeding up the operating speed of a driving circuit.
SOLUTION: This device is a liquid crystal display device provided with a liquid crystal display element 501 in which liquid crystal is arranged in between the first substrate having scanning electrode group and the second substrate having information electrode group and the scanning electrode group and the information electrode group form a matrix electrode structure, a clock generating circuit 514, a scanning driver forming a scanning signal every clock to be supplied from the clock generating circuit 514 to impart the signal to scanning electrodes and an information electrode driver forming information signal every clock to be supplied from the clock generation circuit 514 to impart the information signal to information electrodes. Then, the width δt0 of at least one pulse among plural clock pulses SCLK in one horizontal scanning period to be supplied from the clock generating circuit 514 is made to be different from that δt1 of other pulses.
