Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve conversion efficiency for converting a charge into a voltage while eliminating a dark current from an FD in an image pick-up element.SOLUTION: A pixel circuit includes: a photoelectric conversion section; a control transistor; and a charge accumulation section. The photoelectric conversion section converts a beam of light entering along the optical axis into a charge. The control transistor controls an output voltage according to the input voltage. The charge accumulation section accumulates the charge in an area positioned between the control transistor and the photoelectric conversion section on the optical axis, to supply a voltage corresponding to the accumulated charge amount as an input voltage to the control transistor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
