Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug type ground-fault circuit breaker which is connectable even by a two-electrode receptacle with no ground electrode and by a three-electrode receptacle including a ground electrode and is capable of varying a breaker range according to the receptacle to be connected when shakes caused by an earthquake are detected.SOLUTION: A plug type ground-fault circuit breaker comprises: a housing that can be held by one hand; a ground plug which is supported in a slidable and movable manner between a protrusion position where the ground plug protrudes from the housing, and an accommodation position where the ground plug is accommodated in the housing; an insert plug; a receptacle unit receiving a connection of a plug of load equipment; an abnormal current detection unit for detecting overcurrent or a leakage current; an earthquake detection unit for detecting shakes caused by an earthquake; and a connection breaking unit for breaking an electrical connection between the insertion plug and the receptacle unit when the abnormal current detection unit detects at least one of the overcurrent and the leakage current or when the earthquake detection unit detects shakes caused by an earthquake.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
