Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire restraining the center uneven wear thereof and improving the linearity of steering stability.SOLUTION: An objective pneumatic tire satisfies the relation of 0.05≤(R×D/2A)2×[(CP100-CP75)/(W100-W75)]/[(CP75-CP40)/(W75-W40)]≤0.50 when defining the cornering powers measured by the loads W40, W75 and W100 (kN) corresponding to 40%, 75% and 100% of maximum load capacity established by the specification of pneumatic pressure 230kPa as CP40, CP75 and CP100 (kN/°), a flat ratio as R, an outer diameter as D(mm) and a nominal tire sectional width as A(mm). The tire includes at least one central major groove 11 and two shoulder main grooves 12 located at an outermost side in a width direction, and a cross-sectional profile which defines the tread of the land parts 20, 30 in a center area Xc protrudes to the outside of the reference profile line PLc of the center area Xc in a radial direction when defining the inside of the shoulder main groove as the center area Xc.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
