Title:
A polish device of medals
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6215377
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing device with high peeling force, effectively scraping off dirt and the like attached to irregularities on surfaces of tokens with brush bristles, in a technique for cleaning/polishing the surfaces of the tokens by making the tokens pass through between overlappedly-crossing brush bristle tip ends of a pair of rotary brushes.SOLUTION: A token polishing device is configured to set the depth δ of overlapped parts of rotation trajectories of tip ends of brush bristles (4and 4) or (4and 4) of facing rotary brushes (2and 2) or (2and 2), to a range of 2-5 mm, especially to a range of 2.0-3.0 mm, thereby significantly removing dirt on the surfaces of tokens. Further, token guides 5and 5are provided on upper/lower sides of a token conveyance passage 1 between the pair of rotary brushes 2-2, and further, triangular projections 6, 6, 6, and 6are formed on the token guides 5and 5to be inserted in the rotation trajectories of the rotary brushes so as to effectively peel off dirt attached to the brush bristles, and release the dirt to an outer peripheral atmosphere, thereby further improving the cleaning/polishing ability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
