The invention relates to a device for driving the drive rollers of a calender for pressing laminated glazing 49, which comprises at least one series of pressing rollers 1, 2 mounted on a movable frame 3, at least one of these pressing rollers 6 acting as a drive by being actuated by a drive unit 9 to which it is connected by a transmission system. …The device according to the invention comprises a fixed and non-deformable transmission shaft 11, mounted on the movable frame 3 and connected to the drive unit 9 by a chain 10 or belt and to each drive roller 6 via a transmission system comprising a bevel gear 14 and a hinged assembly 16 which is deformable in an essentially vertical direction. …The calender equipped with this device can be used for the assembly of glazing of complex shapes. ……
