Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrocarbon-based ionomer material suitable for a polymer electrolyte for a fuel cell.SOLUTION: A polymer electrolyte for a fuel cell has a structure represented by general formula (1). (Rs independently represent a hydrogen atom, a -C=OCHRRgroup, or a -ORSOH group, and m represents a positive number of 10 or more, where at least one of two Rs is not a hydrogen atom. Rs independently represent a 2-6C alkyl or alkoxy group, and n represents 0 or a positive number. N units (A) and n units (B) are random-copolymerized.)
