Abstract:

To provide a solid polymer electrolyte not impairing ion conductivity of ionic liquid, suppressing ionic liquid leakage, applicable to a lithium ion secondary battery and a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell, and having high mechanical strength and excellent shape stability at room temperature or higher.

A solid polymer electrolyte contains as its main component a fine composite particle provided with a polymer brush layer formed of a polymer graft chain made by polymerization of ionic liquid monomers having a polymerizable functional group.
